At the time it made me deliriously happy. After I was at my new job for a month I amused my new coworkers by commenting "It still feels like I'm on vacation from my previous job. I just can't get it in to my head that I don't have to go back there!"
Looking back on it 20 years later, still one of the best moves I've ever done.
