Bricks are easier to remodel and repair than concrete. You can take them out, replace them, etc.

Bricks are good at demolition time, compared to poured concrete, and can be recycled. They also look kinda nice.

Demolishing a brick wall and cleaning the bricks by hand is expensive though, compared to running a bulldozer through it

Why don't we use (something like) Legos?
