Much shorter breeding season so maybe evolutionary selection made them even more aggressive than the typical US swamp mosquito. The worst I've ever encountered here in Texas some kind of deer fly, and they're tough and bloodthirstily agressive. I have backhanded them 20ft and they come back for more.

I agree, the context of the website/topic/whatever should be more than enough to derive enough to load an add. On a hackerspace page? put up some rpi or DMM add. On rock music site? Thow up some vinyl adds or guitar tabs. Etc.

Usually it's the short notice that gets peoples' hackles up. It's kind of a dirty trick. Everyone knows things can change.
