Amazing, real dedication and it looks so good! Have spent some time just wandering around and clicking on different characters I don't recognize.
So fun
I am fighting gaming, TV, YouTube and phone addiction at the moment.
It is very hard for me to find something else to do, especially at home.
But I try to have projects going every day and try to go out and see people and have a community I visit frequently.
If you have a naturally addictive personality (or lack of strong enough mental guards against), maybe directing those affections towards something cheaper and more healthy is the solution. Find a virtue in obsession.
Get into some physical sports, gym or otherwise, indoor or outdoor, doesn't matter whatever clicks for ya. And do them without screens, they are not useful in any way. After getting deep enough, those previous addictions will look like a pathetic shallow waste of precious little short life we all have. Plus you will feel much better. Plus you will look much better and more attractive.
Did you really have to make this comment here on this post?
I think you intentionally wrote it to spark a fire as well.
"systematically massacring tens of thousands with the declared intent of ethnic cleansing"
You know yourself that so many people disagree with you about this and sees this as an outrageous claim.
It's very much not an outrageous claim, it is in fact the shared opinion of literally all non-partisan international organizations that have studied the conflict in any way - including the UN, the Red Cross, the International Criminal Court, Human Rights Watch, Doctors without Borders, and many many many others. And it is not unrelated to Pope Francis or his death, as he spoke about the humanitarian tragedy in Palestine just yesterday, in his last public speech.
RIP, I have given Francis my prayers for his soul and his close ones and everyone who saw him as a leader and a holy figure. God can use anything for the good <3
I have been burnt out for almost three years now, was mostly bedridden at first but I can do much more now.
I can do moderate training 1-2 times a week, go out to get socialization 1-2 times a week and do much more at home.
So it have gotten better, just a very slow pace and it's really hard.
You have to learn to know when you have to rest and when to push yourself and that line can be super thin.
Not good to do too much and not too little, very hard to read signals imo.
Hopefully we will see more breakthrough in understanding and reading the signals of the body in the future
