I've never used them, but http://www.pad2pad.com/ always seemed like an interesting website. Download their application, design the board, and place an order.

A good tip, but not always an option for some people. Especially if you're interested in using some sort of niche blogging software. (As in, not Wordpress or something popular)

Not everyone has time / money to set up and host their own blog.

That's why it's a protip. If you want to avoid the hassle that come with outsourcing some of your core infrastructure, like having to deal with waiting for bugs to be fixed, then self-managed hosting is the only option. But you're just trading one set of hassles for another. And if you're interested in running some niche blogging software, good luck finding a service that will do that. If you want to outsource to a service, you're limited to what services are providing, which is usually those that are popular.

I'm not sure what you mean by that. I installed Ad-Block on Firefox almost two years ago. I don't even realize I have it until I go on somebody else's computer. It's literally never said a word to me; it just quietly blocks ads on any site I visit.

This website is pretty useful: www.copypastecharacter.com Just click on the symbol you want, and it's put on your clipboard. They just updated it today to support the ♺ symbol.

Looks awesome. I wish they would have taken photos that were less 'artistic' looking and more interesting. The photos are mostly of them moving it, then using it at odd angles..

Yeah. For a slide show investigating design, readability, and ease of use, the second slide seems a bit out of place. Luckily, the rest of it is easy to understand, and very useful and interesting.

I can personally attest to Nearly Free Speech being a fantastic host. I used to use Godaddy, but their domain management tools were ugly and over complicated, and being a member of their site made me feel like I was just a number. NFS.net has simple, easy to use domain management tools, cheap hosting (Just like the name says) and anytime I needed help they have been able to respond very quickly. I would recommend them above any other hosting site.
