Unless they are accurate most of the time, I would agree with this.

Money, also they fake I drink X coke a day while knowing he can pay for any medication or doctor in the world. The humble rich is a facade to stay in power.

There's no magic medication or doctor that can do much to compensate for a bad diet, including excess sugar. Plenty of wealthy people have died of type-2 diabetes. But one or maybe two Cokes per day isn't a problem for most people.

It’s the end result of building a system of engagement over meaningful interaction. The more time spent watching ads disguised as content, the greater the profits.

Also don't get me started on parasocial relationships on twitch outcompeting real relationships.

Responding to a deleted comment on tech control:

They do already, google, Microsoft, meta, Amazon all AI defense contractors using their technology to suppress negative feedback to their involvement in military contracts. Police using surveillance to spy on journalists phones. Healthcare approval completely automated by AI and school that don’t know difference between student or AI homework.

The richest already have nearly 50% of buying power. Elon Musk can make cities building rockets the size of skyscrapers. You don’t have to look forward, you can look at the past robber barons for examples. Yes it’s bad for the economy but it’s great for a few people who acquire wealth.

This assumes that a less resources intensive future awaits or that conflict driven by lack of employment doesn’t lead to the end of AI.

Did any conflict driven by a lack of employment ever lead to the end of a new technology?

It won't. Unless AI plateaus, it's just too valuable so big money and big militaries will keep it alive.

Yup, limit residents and percentage grading ensure that doctors are in short supply. Compare to the extremely streamline jr Doctor programs in the UK.

I’ve been watching documentaries since I was kid that do the same thing every few years. At least we’ve finally given up the were 10 years away from living forever.

I know people who’ve died because of AI algorithms years ago. They’ve implemented state programs with no legal oversight and only governed by an algorithm.

He’s also buying up a lot of farm land in US…
