I am slowly coming to understanding that a job where I am an employee will never give me satisfaction. Instead I focus on my family, hobbies and my own side projects hoping that one of them will male enough at some point so I do not have to work fulltime anymore. I am also gonna try to apply for university and finish my Masters to see if I can get job in something else than I do now.
After I decided to kill my startup that was not going anywhere I took a year break from startups and just spent time with my gf, friends and hobbies. I have got myself into fpv drones and planes as I find flying extremely relaxing. Now I am back at trying to build some of my ideas.
I do have a full-time as mobile dev job that is not too demanding so I have still time for my own projects.
That's tough if you're in a HCOL area and have to rent or are looking to purchase a home. Even if you're flush with cash landlords won't rent to you nor banks lend.
I have been talking with few companies about switching job but the decided to drop all of them as I would have to work much more and be some kind of mobile tech lead for barely any difference in money. Now I am living by in a company where I do my work in few hours and got a lot of free time.
Besides that I have made a RC plane with fpv system on it and been just flying around. Find that very therapeutic and good escape from reality.
Honestly I am only 27 and been working full time as a developer for little over 5 years but I am having a hard time thinking that I have to do this for next 40 years until I retire, feeling a bit of burn out already.
I am now thinking about going to UNI again to do my master degree and maybe go away from mobile development and work on something meaningful.
I was on my severance package from mid January until end of may 2021 and I was just working on my apps and doing my hobbies and it was one of the best times I had. Now that I got another job that pays pretty well compared to what I had before or even similar jobs to where I live I feel like meh and I am trying to figure out how to go to the work on my own stuff/hobbies asap.
I doubt you'll find it anywhere else, it probably gets removed anywhere it gets posted due to violation of terms of service. I created a Telegram account and the Telegram link still works. I think that's your best bet.
I switched to ginseng primarily. Green tea some but not much and not daily.
I cut out coffee for 3 weeks for another reason and the migraines went away.
They come back with stress, not enough breaks from mobile/monitors, and other unknowns.
Exercise daily getting your heart rate up has helped also.
There’s a migraine book out there about the exclusion diet where you slowly cut things out and make detailed logs. Log what you eat, what you did, felt, a super detailed journal. I never make it more than a few days of that.
