I'm sure it's not what you meant, but the argument "it makes me slower at my job and deliver less stable solutions, but I feel cool doing it" is not exactly a compelling endorsement.

I can't see anything in OP's post where he says any of that. Everything you said seems like an incredibly ungenerous reading of what he wrote.

Zig is a systems programming language. Moving from Python to Zig is a step down the tech stack, which brings with it exposure to underlying concepts and limitations that matter when writing any software, and which is especially valuable for a self-taught dev.

If you asked me who'd write better and more performant Python - between the person who's done some systems programming and a person who has never done so - I'd bet on the former. Just because Python e.g. abstracts memory from you doesn't mean there aren't decisions you can make to optimise your memory usage, but only if you know how. (Or that computers even have memory, and your code is using some of it, which not all Python/JS devs do.)

Even when it's the US' fault, it's still everyone else's fault. The superpower with an unrivaled spy and surveillance state with a constellation of satellites and precision missiles with blades that can hit an individual person from across the world is just simply helpless from blowing up a school of children.

> But refusing to give up encryption keys and supiciously empty chat histories with a valid warrant is very good evidence of a crime in itself.

Uh, it absolutely isn't? WTF dystopian idea is this?

It certainly can be - destruction of evidence is a crime. If they can prove you destroyed evidence, even if they can't prove that the destroyed evidence incriminates you, that's criminal behaviour. For instance if it's known by some other means you have a conversation history with person X, but not whether that conversation history is incriminating, and then when your phone is searched the conversation history is completely missing, that is strong evidence of a crime.

And fix: a functioning government would make a law that outlaws such flagrant abuse of a media company.

What, if making murder illegal was hard would you just throw your hands and give up and make murder legal? Why is it that suddenly, when it's about corporations to do whatever they want - including destroy democracy itself - we're little babies who can't possibly lift a single finger to stop it?

But that guy who sold an eighth? Implement the full extent of mass surveillance and send a tactical SWAT team to the wrong house to arrest him for 40 years!

Trump went on TV and openly stated we just have to accept the death of Americans. "Oh well, that's what happens." As if this conflict is an act of God.

You think he - a raging, narcissistic, racist, pedophile rapist - gives a single fuck about Iranian citizens? You think He Seth - an alcoholic, "lethalmaxxing", Tate bro with nazi tattoos - gives a single fuck about Iranian citizens?

Oh come on guys, this one is at least funny.

What do you mean "run OpenClaw natively", you're just running Node?

I'm also curious if it's particularly wise to have a web-facing system running on software that hasn't had a security update in 3 years?

I do have Expanded Security Maintenance enabled on the jetson nano, its just that Nvidia is not providing newer major versions but since its a LTS, its still receiving security updates.

Yes sorry about the confusion, I meant “the recommended way” rather than natively

GitHub accounts are free and the project is literally a bot-ing service. It stands to reason that the tens of thousands of robots unleashed on the web are responsible for these stars?

It's larger than literally every open source service I thought to use as a benchmark. Rust, React, Vue, Symfony, Laravel, PHP Stan, Python, ESlint, rails, LLVM, Spring, fucking Linux itself.

I would wager the legitimate stars for OpenClaw are single digit percents of this. But hey, I haven't actually run the numbers on the GitHub API.

To be clear, these people were not on the front lines in an invasion. Our contributions are currently (AFAWK) precision strikes. These dead service members would be victims of region-wide retaliatory missile strikes and may genuinely not have even known we had attacked Iran before a missile came out of nowhere and killed them in their (e.g.) cushy Dubai job.

Heck, if they were told the day of, what are they going to do? They're stuck in the Middle East on a deployment and will need to rely on a military vehicle to take them across the pond.

You should at least inform yourself about what's happening before making comments like this.

> Israel did not mass bomb civilians

Within an hour Israel blew up an elementary school, killing 80 civilians.

A school located at 27.109828°N, 57.084744°E was hit and partially collapsed. That is the extent of the hard evidence.

Oh my God, is this 2001 again?

> All we know is that they did launch a missile that blew up a school. That's it. Just a little woopsies!

Ignore what schools are for and who are in them and what communities exist around them. Ignore that a school is clearly not a fucking military target. Ignore the workers digging through rubble and the reported deaths.

No, despite the past 25 years, the US and Israel's governments are not only trustworthy, but the only source of truth. There are no deaths in Ba Sing Se. There were nuclear missiles hidden in that school!

And, of course, I'm sure we'll hear next that any deaths were terrorists. And if any photos of lifeless kids come up, clearly they're some kind of pinatas or AI! And if their names and life stories come out and there are funerals - duh, state actors!

My country has completely lost its fucking mind. Which I guess makes sense enough after spending my entire adult life watching people basically shrug over little kids being gunned down at school.

Which, dang, that reminds me how Sandy Hook was also a conspiracy and I've had to suffer listening to the same exact "state actor" thing with that.

Fact check before writing walls of text. Information war is a real thing. Everything you wrote has no import on whether this particular piece of information is true.

So, now that the Pentagon agrees we did it, you going to change your tune?
