Straight to the signup page? A bit blatant, no?

Qonto is French and so is the commenter on Twitter.

What you are saying is not correct; perhaps you are confusing it with the right to an account?

https://www.banque-france.fr/fr/a-votre-service/particuliers...

Yes, exactly. French citizens have an inalienable right to a checking account, enforced by French government. I don't remember the exact law, but I know someone who was 'interdit bancaire' (took too much revolving credits in the 90s) and the local bank _had_ to let him open a new account (a very limited one).

Anyone living there, not just citizens.

That doesn't mean a bank can't close your account. It just means that if you have none, a bank can be told to give you one.

Since it's in French, here's the translation:

> They are lying to you. They keep repeating that "it's your money". It's false. It’s only a temporary access right that the system can take away from you with one click.

> I dared to criticize Palantir. A few days later, @getqonto deactivated my card, closed my account and blocked my funds. Without a word. I was erased, and I don’t believe in coincidences.

> When a "French unicorn" is funded by Peter Thiel’s millions, freedom of speech becomes a risk. Who really holds the switch to your life?

Scrapping First-past-the-Post is probably a good start.

Good luck!

malicious ≠ intrusive.

but intrusive advertising is malicious

>Israel is fighting with a significantly higher amount of restraint and morality than their opponent

Gaza would not be starving were this the case, and you should be ashamed of yourself for suggesting otherwise.

Please don’t be absurd.. or are you one of the people pretending that the October 7th attacks didn’t happen or that the victims somehow deserved it?

What Israel ended up doing in Gaza ended up being extremely horrible.

But what options did they really have? Not doing anything would have been the same(or worse) than the US ignoring 9/11… Hamas on the other hand had the option to stop the war at anytime they wanted, the chose not to.

Not kill children is the start , then not kill the innocent and then move to the civilized world conduct. Fairly low bar to meet.

So just ignore the atrocities Hamas/male Gazans committed and move on? Not exactly realistic?

they are not synonymous as you’d like to make us believe, just cant be a homogeneous group.

Yes I think countries shouldn’t kill innocent people, you’d think people that experienced a genocide wouldn’t commit genocide so easily

They could've, like, stopped firing missiles at the people every day. When you fire missiles at people every day they will get angry and try to scrounge up something to fire back.

And there's just no excuse for the part where they shot children with sniper rifles, recorded themselves laughing about it and posted it on TikTok.

If I had to pick a single thing differently (I have many) Isreal should have not only ”allowed in” (which they didn’t ) food and water but actively driven in huge amounts of it.

> But what options did they really have?

Not kick a dog for decades upon decades and act suprised when it bit back?

It's been a shitty situation all round, since the fall of Beersheba if not before, but its a difficult ask to want all to believe October 7th came out of nowhere.

Gaza isn't starving. Civilian deaths in this conflict are remarkably low.

Allowed by whom?

By law. H1b requires the wages to be greater than the prevailing wage for similar positions in the region. They are published by DoL: https://flag.dol.gov/wage-data/wage-search

For this kind of experience, you'd be looking for level 2 _minimum_ and likely level 3. For King County in WA it's right now $149240 and $180710 respectively. Level 4 wage is $212202, btw.

The H1B requirements are even higher, but also WA state law requires software developer salaries to be 3.5 x minimum wage x 52 weeks per year. Currently, that is $124k+, because minimum wage is $17.13 per hour.

Interesting how exploits already got weaponized instead of being reported to Meta...
