I have 150 or so subs but have not been going for long and stopped for 10 months.
Just restarted again.
In terms of promotion, it is just organic through word of mouth, the substack app, google search and our twitter handle: https://twitter.com/aistartupjobs
i have something similar over at grazily.com where people can just define their search preferences and we email them once a week with jobs for that week.
but so far i have very few users after 2 years so I pretty much stopped working on it.
Yeah from what I can tell there is no money in this. I use it to primarily analyze the AI space. I learn by doing. It may also help some people.
For instance a few learnings:
1. France seems to be the AI leader in continental Europe
2. Bay Area by far is the hub for AI
3. PMF across the board seems to be arriving with many companies hiring sales staff compared to 12 months ago
4. Databricks, Anduril, Shield AI and of course, OpenAI dominate my job listings. I am unsure of their revenue and profitability but this would indicate they are the biggest non-public AI companies.
I learn things like the above by monitoring the space. I track about 550 companies.
I have been working on Sales & Partnerships in tech for 20 years. Partner Insight - an On Deck Alumni - invited me to present a global structure for expanding sales using partners. It is a blueprint on how how set up a partner strategy.

Any suggestions? What do you think?
