Overlays often have ask users to like some page on facebook, or to subscribe to some mailing list, it's not advertising. But you need to make a click to close it.
uBlock and AdBlockPlus make them go away, at least on website I frequent.
And facebook is one of those questionable ethics organizations I mentioned. The mere existence of a "Like" button (whether you click it or not) in 99.99% of the cases already gives facebook all the info about your surfing habits.
It's activated by clicking the icon or by using a keyboard shortcut (cmd+shit+x). So there is at least one single way to close any overlay on any website.
WebSocket works over HTTP, not TCP. A properly implemented HTTP stack will have no problem passing WebSocket to the next server. Some non-compliant HTTP stack still experience trouble with it though.
Technically incorrect. WebSockets handshake over HTTP and then "work" over TCP. I'm actually curious which HTTP stacks are non compliant and what you mean by that.
As to my original comment, you can probably get by without having full TCP load balancing.
I guess when further people adopt HTTP2, where each user will have only one tcp connection to transfer your files, you have to figure out load balancing to stick to your connection.
Maybe if you use Nginx to replace some of your load balancer appliances to reverse proxy all your traffic, but you are unable to do SSL termination on that box.
No need to be ashamed, French politicians are far better than US ones. It's not the US politicians who have built Google. As US have concentred all the money, Europe's companies have hard time investing in some technology that will not yield revenue immediately. Google got its first revenue few years after its foundation, that's impossible for a EU based company. Europe should create more conditions for its startups, otherwise no new technology will come out Europe.
You should give prismic.io a spin. You basicaly define data format in as JSON, CRUD interface is generated just from data description. The data you you add is also JSON you can easily retrive. You can query the data with predicates. Did a few projects with it, didn't need a database, or create a CRUD, such a relive.
Author here, I got annoying of overlays I see more and more, with different way of closing them, so I made this extension that is universal, it can close any overlay on any website :)
It's easy to depack even the packer's "Base 64 encode", just replace the eval function with a call to console.log for example, and you will have your original code.
Jsnice doesn't exceutes eval as it's doing statical analysis ie. without executing the programs.
What country in western Europe ? Never heard about anyone talking about a dual-sim telephones in France. But there is not much point of having two subscription to two companies that prices are aligned.
Wiko Mobile is a big name in France (#3 in 2013) and (almost?) all the smartphone they sell are dual sim:
http://world.wikomobile.com/p-Wiko-Smartphones
they are sold in supermarket as well (Auchan etc..)
Portugal. The reason I have one is because I have a company-issued SIM card, besides my personal one. But here prices are not actually aligned, since some providers have free, unlimited calls between members of the same plan, but not between members of different providers.
>have no choice but to support the "people uprising" as these "green little men" is the only hope of Russian speaking population in eastern Ukraine against "trains of friendship" of Ukranian nationalists descending on their towns and villages.
Could you please elaborate why you have "no choice" ? How exactly did Ukrainians threatened the Russian people in Ukraine so you agree on war ? Wasn't a Yanukovych a pro-russian president ? Why not simply wait for an election as a democratic country ? Why support those who want war and war of the nations ?
This is not a war of two countries it's a war of two nations that share the same roots. If the war is the last option Russia had, they are indeed very disparate. I don't think they are in need of support, they're more in need of mourning.
Violence is the weapon of the weak said the great Gandhi.
Even when violence appears to do good, the good is only temporary; the evil it does is permanent. -- Gandhi How many died already ? In name of what ? Stupidsapiens.
If we could all once agree to stop the violence, stop talking politics and more about how we can evolve and improve our lives and live in peace, that would be a tremendous achievement..
>Could you please elaborate why you have "no choice" ? How exactly did Ukrainians threatened the Russian people in Ukraine so you agree on war ?
why war? I just support the right of people to take power in their hands and form their own state when their basic rights are violated or not protected by the current state they reside in. United States two centuries ago, colonial Africa 60-40 years ago, Kosovo, South Sudan,... Estonia, Latvia, Ukraine,... . If it were my decision Chechnya would be separate today.
>Wasn't a Yanukovych a pro-russian president ? Why not simply wait for an election as a democratic country ?
exactly. Yanukovich (while being complete trash, not that other politicians there are any better though) was democratically elected. What would be the point of new elections?
