Yeah, I had high hopes for the keyboard.io, but it turned out to be an ergonomic disaster. After a couple of weeks trying to transition, I just gave up. It's a shame.
I'd buy a keyboard from keyboard.io with a less radically different layout. I don't think I could reprogram the existing one to the point where I could retain my current typing speed.
would not increasing the base level of education decrease the chance of the currently ruling party staying in power? does not seem like a wise course of action (edit: for them).
if it's for internal use, you most likely have access to the DNS-server the clients are using, not an unlikely scenario when it comes to licensed code like this i would imagine.
i would assume they are not contributing but if i wanted to find out if they did, i'd ask them.
should be fairly easy to validate if you know what they're contributing to.
while i agree with your point about this being sub-optimal for both software-development and free software as a whole, i think it is a separate issue.
it's a nice feature to have but adding a repo via the web interface didn't take more than a few seconds at most. not quite sure what config & setup you are referring to other than the name of the repo, not a whole lot of other things need to be specified, if any.
if they are identical, why would i choose to open up a bundled web browser when the one i already have opened works just fine and can display the web page just as well?
UP in bash swaps the commandline to your previous command, it does not search in your history. either way, please don't move your fingers all the way to your arrow keys for this.
I guess I'm still missing something here. In bash you can type the first couple of characters of a command and the PGUP (or whatever key you map for this) and it searches backwards through your history for matching commands. What does fish do differently?
