MacOS has a frustrating tendency to depend on external utilities for basic functions, but I've found Maccy to be as good as if not better than Windows clipboard manager. You can summon it with a keybinding or click on an icon in the menubar. It's really good and one of the first things I install on Mac.

HTML supports video just fine and has for years. Can't imagine why it would be an issue.

Facebook does (or at least used to when I left it a few years ago) this too. They give you a huge dump of your data and photos, with an html file to help you navigate it better.

The majority of these "mom and pop e-commerce stores here in the states" are dropshipping enterprises that deserve to die.

Blood, Sweat, and Pixels: The Triumphant, Turbulent Stories Behind How Video Games Are Made, by Jason Schreier

Not particularly deep, but a pretty good read about more modern AAA games and crunch in the industry.

To offer a differing experience, I've been working in Angular for a couple of years now and personally like it quite a bit. I don't like frontend frameworks in general, but given the choice I prefer Angular over React.

Angular was made for you, basically. I've always seen that as the use case.

It never seemed suitable for mostly-frontend devs, but it's probably perfect for mostly-backend ones.

Yeah, that makes sense I suppose. My Java background also means the verbosity and structure doesn't bother me much.

I'm glad it worked out for you, but this is also survivorship bias.

Bob and Brad ("the two most famous physical therapists on the internet") are an absolute treasure. Always good to see them get some appreciation online.

CLRS or some Algorithm Design Book, but you could easily be talking about TAOCP or SICP or Clean Code or any of 1000 other books.

We made the jump from 8 to 17 this year! Some of our developers of course still write 1.6 level code, of course
