Is that true?

Yes

This is my external portable monitor that I usually take with me for my computer. It gets power and video from one USB C cable it works with any computer that can do video over USB-C. It also works with my iPhone with a standard USB C cable.

I also have a USB C to HDMI cable.

Yeah, I plugged mine into my tv a few weeks ago, using a USB-C dock, so I could play the new Katamari game on the 65" screen.

With a ps5 controller hooked up via bluetooth, it was just like having a console.

It was since at least the iPhone 4. I still have the old digital AV connector from before they switched to lightning. It came with a hdmi port and a usb port. You could plug an SD card reader into the usb port and use it as an external HDD for transferring files.

possibly the spending required to do all the severances

Is Japan still the largest creditor in the world???

$5 = $5

but $5 that I amortize over 7 years might end up being $1.7 maybe if I don't rapidly combust (supply chain risk)

Recursive self improvement and Repetitive Strain Injury being the same initialism is really funny to me

why don't you ask the model?

Not to scare away the goblins!

RIP bash.org

Did we ever get a black bar for it?

did RH open up API for trading?

I developed a Claude skill that will interact with and press every button intercepting every request / response on a website building a Typescript API. I only have $10 in that account so there isn't much damage that it can do. Probably get me banned but I don't use Robinhood for real trading.

I have used RH to get data for experiments but I heard they insta-ban any API usage to actually execute trades FWIW

Why can't we just introduce a "vouching for" system like lobste.rs

There is a lot of opportunity here for the AI infrastructure layer on top of tier-1 model providers

This is what clouds like AWS, Azure, and GCP solve (vertex AI, etc). They are already an abstraction on top of the model makers with distribution built in.

I also don't believe there is any value in trying to aggregate consumers or businesses just to clean up model makers names/release schedule. Consumers just use the default, and businesses need clarity on the underlying change (e.g. why is it acting different? Oh google released 3.6)

Do the end users really care about the models at all, or about the effects that the models can cause?
