Great because I would delete Steam if it ever did happen.

If I'm not mistaken, there have been 60+ million aborted preganancies in the US since the mid-70s. Pretty strong data supports the claim you are questioning, it's also probably the reason for recent successful attacks on abortion rights.

Are you saying the state should dictate what you can do with the energy you buy?

They already do, at least in terms of second-order effects. You can't use the energy you buy to electrocute someone. You can't use that energy to power a meth lab.

That's not because the law specifically says you can't use electricity to do those things (it's about murder and illegal drug production and distribution), but the end result is the same.

Banning Bitcoin or Bitcoin mining need not be a specific energy-use law, even if that might be the purpose behind such a law.

>How Thomas Edison oversold the qualities of an early lightbulb prototype to media and investors.

Theranos's "Edison Machine" springs to mind.

Hehehe. Maybe people should stop naming things after Eddie. Bad luck.

However Theranos', didn't succeed in it's BS. Kinda need to find a product which was BS initially but later was developed into that product. Some of the old Google AI demos spring to mind.

Thomas "Fake it to you develope it" Edison?

>I believe Americans rarely try to say jump the line, lie to you for tiny advantages, do you harm out sheer spite etc.

I have a feeling minorities in the US would disagree.

>Americans are being kicked around by their corporations, and now they are being just as big assholes back.

It might be systemic.

American style capitalism leads to individualism and an environment where most people cant afford to care for other people.

>What you "think" doesn't have any value to me. You are some anonymous person on the internet who might be just another Telegram fan.

No need to go off topic. This is from your own linked article.

"We can confirm that our moderators took down several channels sharing personal data. However, we can also confirm that no private user data was requested from Telegram and that none has been shared."

This is the same statement they gave after Spiegel exposed them working with German feds: https://www.spiegel.de/netzwelt/apps/telegram-gibt-nutzerdat... and therefore is quite worthless.

>and therefore is quite worthless.

You are making an assumption that their statement is false without evidence.

Just making that clear.

I quoted evidence that they already worked with other governments. It is you who has no evidence that the statement by the Iraq Government is false.

Just making that clear.

Correct. This is why I recommend gathering body parts from Arlington cemetery.

You should go there to see all the people who's lives were cut short trying to actually do something. Not making pointless fusses about things for 100 years ago that affect no one alive today.

People are bending over backwards to avoid paying black Americans for trillions in stolen labor. Switching the topic from race to class is another attempted deflection by the dominant groups in the US.

African countries should consider any attempt to tag their citizens an attack. The countries that will end up with this data are historically among the most racist on the planet and will find a harmful use for it, if they havent already.

IMO Sam Altman and Worldcoin should be banned from the African continent.
