This resonates really will with me, and I find myself more and more judging people who does not understand this..

Frankly I was thinking just the opposite: how are there still smart people who don't get the difference between intelligence, knowledge and introspection or self-awareness? This guy asks a question about some niche piece if trivia and, surprise, he gets back some very intelligent confabulation. The intelligence is there, the knowledge and self awareness aren't.

What about scatter from the objects?

The design assumes absorbing obstacles. He did make a separate video with reflecting obstacles, but the green circle is not safe.

Absorbing obstacles will technically not protect you either from receiving any light at all. Diffraction will 'push' some light into the geometric optical shadows.

Not considering your other points - I never had issues converting between USDT and USD. I just did it yesterday in fact.

Did you exchange USDT for USD through the exchange or did you trade USDT for USD, there is a difference.

In the first instance the exchange is on the hook for the USDT and they have to go to Tether to get USD to cover it.

In the second instance the other user you traded with is on the hook for the USDT and they will probably just trade it for USD in the future or another crypto.

Hey, just discovered boringproxy from your link. Looks like a really slick solution!

Thanks. It's not quite production-ready, but I do think it offers some unique features. There are reasons I decided to make it even after discovering 20+ alternatives that all do pretty much the same thing.

Seems to be hugged to death

Get "http://localhost:36169/": dial tcp 127.0.0.1:36169: connect: connection refused

Weird, the initial traffic when I announced it on /r/selfhosting was bigger than this. Must have gotten in a bad state. Anyway, thanks, it's back now.

He didn't ask about the math, he wanted to know where it was said that they could earn "tens of thousands" (and I believe that is stated in the middle of the root post of this thread)

Just including the actual solution in an article about this problem would be IMO a much better choice.

[Insert default "its OSS, just create a fork" here]

Wow, thanks for sharing this!

Will keep an eye on this!
