Tise is a social marketplace for second hand fashion. Launched in Norway in 2016, in the past five years Tise has become a community of 1.6 million users, with over 100k daily active users in Norway alone.
In 2021 we are focusing on taking leading positions in Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. To do this we need more engineers who thrive when given a lot of autonomy to solve problems.
We are currently looking for both a senior backend (or devops) engineer to join the backend team (currently 4 people), as well as two web and Android developers to join our client teams (currently 2 on each platform). Relocation to the Oslo area is required.

We are currently 15 people in downtown Oslo, which is where our core tech team is located. We also have remote engineers in 4 different countries.

This works if you are in a position to sell the stock to pay the tax. If the company is not publicly traded you need to find a buyer, and because you really need that money before the tax returns you might have to sell at a lower price than the one you were taxed on, if you can find one at all. This makes it harder for startup employees to exercise their stock options before an exit or the company going public, unless they already have cash at hand.

Same as the US. You pay tax on the valuation difference when you exercise. and AFAIK you have to exercise before you sell on any primary or secondary market.

appear.in is a free video-chat service based in Oslo, Norway. We are looking for passionate JavaScript and iOS engineers to help us create a new version of our product for business users.
Our stack is very JavaScript heavy, with Node.js in most of our backend services, and Angular.js on the web frontend. The iOS app is originally written in Obj-C, with all new code being written in Swift.
Every part of our infrastructure runs in AWS managed by a mix of CloudFormation and Terraform.
