Interesting, no one using .net ? Why ?

I think .net is just not as popular on HN. Lots of companies I talk to use .net in their stacks. Have never used it myself however.

There's literally dozens of us! :) I'm using .NET 6 with a React frontend and Linux-based AWS infra. Feels like the best of all the worlds.

I am using it and going to double down on .Net Core with Blazor.

Blazor server or WASM?

Blazor server but with the new .NET 8 release coming up, I am curious as now there will just be Blazor web app and you can choose both in same project.

I’ve built a blogger client and published it on Google play store. One time my updates got rejected, the reason was, I was using an asset without proof of having permission to use it. After much head scratching, the asset was the keyword “Blogger” , so I removed the word from the store description and every place the word was found. Obviously this affected the app, but what can I do ?

I think the only company that could probably compete with YouTube, although long term, is TikTok. If you think about it, it's like YouTube, just with smaller videos.

Not open source, but have you checked Google Classrooms ?

To me what usually burns me is working on places where there's no organization, people ignore feedback. You just spend days working in a stupid, disorganized and unproductive way. Makes you feel like you're working to earn money and do whatever someone ask you to do. It feels pointless.

This is a big part of what Marx means by the alienation of labour.

Arch is like the IKEA version of Linux. Thanks to their WIKI, i feel that i can troubleshoot most issues by myself despite not having huge linux experience.

Arch Wiki is useful even if you're using a different distro.

In many cases I think the Arch wiki is superior even to the official documentation. Which I think says a lot about the state of most documentation.

So, only those three countries right ?

We have lots of people outside those countries. If you or anyone else is interested but live outside those countries I encourage you to apply anyway. I think that restriction is listed because we only have business entities in those countries so if you’re outside them you’d be a contractor. Almost all of us used to be contractors and we weren’t treated as second class so being a contractor here isn’t a bad thing like it can be elsewhere.

Portugal here :) Thanks for that!

How do they handle the licensing of JS and CSS ?
