Alas, then it has started again. But it says "Upgrade to Chrome" instead of "...to IE 4"; worst of all, the Chrome-pushing sites work equally well in recent Opera, or Firefox, or Safari (yes, I know that uses the same core), once you get past the browser-sniffer - but noooo, damn any capability checking, there's gotta be "CHROME" in the User-Agent string.
XP is a decade old. Those users are going to have to buck up. Besides, it's not like they could switch to anything else that would be less jarring than Windows 8.
It doesn't work on Internet Explorer 9. IE 9 already supports portions of HTML5 and it has a damn fast rendering engine. This would have been a great add-on for previous versions of IE.
Indeed. I am a project manager and I do agree with you.
When there are cases where i feel that i am in over my head (technically wise), i try as much as possible to recognize my limitations to the team and ask the experts in the team to take the decisions and formulate the direction where we should all go.
Totally agree.
Would add one more: when there is a problem, they never hide it or ignore it. They face it in a very hands on way and clearly articulate it to all involved in the project.
