I got the rejection email first then acceptance email. Regardless of those emails, I am actually happier now cause everyone is getting in so that this startup community is bigger.
I think it's hard to decide which companies can be in, but I know everyone is working so hard for their startup. So, everyone being accepted is the best outcome I want to see. Good job YC! Looking forward to exchanging ideas and getting advice from everyone!
Thank you! I read the slides. Slicing Pie looks very good and useful to me, especially start-up from 0 to 1. Would like to get thoughts before using it.
Just talk with the reviewer and follow the his suggestion for amendment, if your application is not about selling users' browsing history and privacy .
We have our app being rejected serval times by Apple. We insist we have done nothing wrong and many competitors do the same way. Eventually, we decided to talk to the reviewer, and followed his suggestion to amend our application. Then it finally get approved.
I always think having an anonymous discussion is so cool. People can be honest about they're thinking, or provide real opinions. On the other hand, I'm also curious about how to prevent inappropriate discussions or comments like violent, racist , etc.
I constantly worry about violent, racist, and sexually-explicit content. I’m currently doing manual content moderation but I’m exploring other ways to prevent them. Youtube has implemented AI tech to flag inappropriate content, so that’s something I’m considering.
In the mean time, my focus is to make this anonymous discussion board a healthy place for honest discussions.
Hi HN,
I and my partner has built an application to let everyone play actual claw games remotely. If users win the prize, we will ship it to their address. We are open to any feedback and appreciate any advices.
