Super simple, really like it.

Reminded me of thatgamecompany's games (Flower, Journey) and how they make a simple experience/world you join for imaginative moments.

This was mentioned by another poster, but I don't see many people addressing it.

What about elderly or disabled people who require car/bus transport to live their daily lives? Are there transportation alternatives for those that can't walk as easily?

I'm not saying this can't work with them, but I'm curious what those options would be. Especially if their neighborhood just becomes one of these superblocks (rather than them deciding to live there).

ug sorry about the pay wall - if you visit through google it's open: https://www.google.com/#q=are-you-the-family-tech-support-14...

You start by saying "success is not related with money" and finish by implying that more people listen to Bill Gates because of his money than his other accomplishments. There are plenty of super wealthy people out there we don't listen to much at all (for example, I don't think I've ever heard someone quote one of the Waltons...) but Bill Gates has done a tremendous amount with his wealth - and even more importantly - his time, which is what I listen to him about.

most of those probably tack on an "until..."

Why no Ruby results?

oh great, thanks for the link - being able to tweak the config is much better, although I'm not sure I'd want a mobile app for this

I was WTFing about the same thing (mobile?!?) It's mostly a desktop app. There's just ALSO now a mobile app! Woo!

I tend to think it's a good thing that I don't actually know my bank passwords - a password manager is much simpler. Having strong passwords for all different banks is a piece of cake when you don't have to remember them.

I think your explanation about why the twitter crusade feels so despicable is right on, dsacco and Thomas. Yet I'm struggling with why I (and much of the tech community) was OK and frankly downright gleeful at publicizing the Hacking Team hack - their data was exposed illegally and were engaged in immoral behavior re: working with various abusive governments (and had previously denied these facts). If I'm OK with people losing their right to privacy when they violate my moral sense, then am I much better...?

Umm. Shit.

If you come up with a resolution to the cognitive dissonance you just exposed then please let me know.

yeah, great example, that could also help define the scope - in what ways does the excel feature solve the problem and it what ways does it need to be expanded for code specific issues?
