If it's true that they own about 1k patents it may look like a sweet deal for some big pharma corporation to buy the whole company and shut it down. Thats the only small light on the horizon imho...

The optics of that deal might not look that good for the buyer though. Essentially you'd be buying a fraud.

I don't get how Holmes is still CEO. I really don't get that.

Probably because the Board can't find anyone better to take over this sinking, toxic ship. Sometimes it's just that simple.

Well, not without paying them cash money that they don't have. I can't imagine anyone taking an equity-heavy compensation package.

Maybe Shkreli when he comes back from jail.

No one capable is going to gamble away their career on this unless they'd be sure to end up with many millions in their bank account.

Would Fortress Inv. get the patents if the loan is defaulted on? And in that case, wouldn't they be buying from them instead of outright from Theranos?

"These thrusters fire in tiny pulses, or "puffs," lasting mere milliseconds, to subtly rotate the spacecraft so that its antenna points at our planet."

Does anyone know whats the fuel inside those thrusters is?

Rails 5 API Mode and ReactJS / VueJS. All with great communities and lots of free resources.

Maybe also a minimal go framework instead of rails for better performance...

Wow didnt't see that coming... to recommendations for windows phones. Thanks i will have a look at it.

I wonder how they did the auto-update that brought that feature to me... I have a pretty shitty internet connection here and i recognized the dropbox updater sucking up my bandwidth yesterday... I've not triggered any manual update...

Thought this too as soon as the notification popped up.

To the best of my knowledge I haven't updated recently, so they've basically had an auto-update feature sitting dormant for a while.

Nothing fishy here.

They've had an auto-updater for many years. They've now separated it into a separate process, so the Dropbox sync daemon doesn't have to have privileges to self-modify.

I love the "One Rails command to rule them all" streamlined bin/rails command. Wondered always why there are different commands. Thanks guys!

I figure its because its quite annoying to pass arguments to rake tasks. So all the commands the required arguments lived in the rails command, the rest in rake.

Unfortunately, sipgati is UK only. I'm in Turkey.

Nice. It supports lua and mail alerts on changing servers now...

The mail thing seems like a not healthy growth of functionality.

Most people already have logging infrastructure in place for this.

Unix philosophy and all that.

Sending email alerts probably take very little code. Receiving mail is where the complexity is.

Neither seems like good functionality to add to HAProxy. They both seem superfluous and almost antithetical to what it was in 1.5.

Why is it nice?

I can see some value to Lua; it allows for more complex routing rules in a way that's comfortable for a programmer. (This is pretty much what I use Lua for in nginx, too.)

Mail, though--yeah, nope.

Twitter's Servers are running autonom. We just do not need you anymore... Thanks... AI

That's not far from reality either: https://twitter.com/bartt/status/653946266938818561
