BuddyBuild was acquired by Apple and used for their server CI platform, almost immediately cutting off Android support. That was a shame because it was a great platform for Android builds.
Or more likely, listening to background noise to spy on what family members are saying and listening for marketing/brand trigger words. It may not be very human audible but if it's machine audible it will probably be scraped.
I was reading this on my iPhone 11 Pro and my phone was turning warm in my hand. My music kept stopping and starting again. Eventually I had to kill the browser.
I am sorry this is happening to the authors. Maybe it’s related to the scumminess of their blog, maybe it isn’t.
Having the passwords in the cloud is useful though. Before, if you wanted to use your vault across multiple machines, you had to store your vault in someone else’s cloud. This simplifies the process.
