A lot of his comics aren't great, having to create 7 per week, a fact he referenced in his comics themselves. But just the way he represented people - pudgy, cat's eye glasses, doing some esoteric thing like collecting butterflies or building a robot in the basement, is amusing to me.

This is more or less my response to anyone who complains about CSS; just consider the alternatves. CSS is, by an order of magnitude, the most powerful, flexible, accessible, and maintainable paradigm for UI development in existence. In some cases you're talking hundreds of native LOC to implement what a single CSS rule in a class can do.
There is something like a billion years missing from the geological record in places called the great unconformity due to erosion on snowball earth, although it's probably not covering up any lost civilizations. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LXzDfQyUlLg
I don't know how they would establish causality (for the major fire and deaths) beyond a reasonable doubt when the fire he set was seemingly put out and the entire region is a tinderbox. Whatever his crimes, he seems like a convenient scapegoat for larger systemic failures.
It's still baiting you - why are they hated? The article is a good presentation and tutorial on this particular feature which is itself interesting, but the current title could mean many different things and isn't very clear. Is it a list of hated features? Is it a rant about CSS?
This is a common thing to hear, but I'm not sure how true it is. It would be nice to hear from a historian, but Hitler and the Nazis did many things that were not legal in the early days. They did dodgy and possibly illegal things to give Hitler German citizenship so that he could run in German elections. He literally employed a private army which was committing violent acts across Germany. Not long after being appointed chancellor he personally ordered murders and assassinations including the night of long knives.
