I maintain dasel on Debian [1], and It's such a nice tool! I don't use most of its advanced capabilities, but being able to convert from/to any of those formats with a single tool is very useful.
> dasel: JSON/YML/XML/CSV parser, similar to jq, but different syntax, not sure I'd grow into it, but often need to parse YML like JSON and failing

In Brazil we have Lattes (https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plataforma_Lattes). The English translation does not mention it, but one of it's most useful features is a centralized resume platform. It's quite nice, but mostly used by people in academia and government-adjacent areas.
wcurl does a lot more than that, though: parallel downloads, retries, following redirects (and other things, that are all written in the blog post).
There's also some value in providing a ready-to-use wrapper for users that install the curl package. Maybe wcurl will also show up in other distributions after a while, especially since Daniel also likes the idea.
Yes, you'll always have some that don't fit the mold. Off the top of my head:
bisqwit
pwnfunction
cherno
However, it's like picking through a dung pile looking for the needle, or something like that. You're better off reading some books, the news, experimenting on your own, etc.
