From my perspective, this also marks the shift towards agent skills instead of MCP, since agent skills rely on CLI tools. To me, this is also better than MCP since third-party developers can easily reuse existing APIs and libraries instead of needing official MCP support.


SilverBullet is an awesome piece of software. I still run it, and used to use it quite a bit a year or so ago. I've mostly switched to pen-and-paper, but if you have some spare time and want a simple, customizable note taking app, I highly suggest trying it out. I will say, don't skip the tutorial; it's pretty helpful.


I feel like the default behavior should be to not write unless changes have been made. I may be misunderstanding here, but what would be getting written if nothing's been changed?


It would overwrite changes made by external programs.


Metadata about the file like modification time.


I'm a high schooler who has been working at The Hack Foundation (Hack Club) for the past four months building a hackathon peer-judging platform from scratch. Last weekend, it was deployed at a flagship hackathon. These are the projects that were made by attendees. Next weekend, it will be deployed in over 100 cities globally with an estimated 3000 users for Hack Club's Scrapyard.
