I have been using Celery a lot for several projects and haven't really run into any significant issues. I like it as part of my tech stack.

Sorry to hear others don't feel the same way. I find it easy to use and maintain.

I completely agree. They are taking a limited experiment and extrapolating to parenting in general.

Job Description

Our small development team is looking for our first QA engineer to take charge of documenting requirements, writing acceptance criteria, and validating tests. We follow an agile test-driven development process, and we need a motivated QA engineer to help ensure that quality is built into our product along every step of the way.

As a QA engineer at RVshare, you will be given a large amount of responsibility. You will be entrusted to get out ahead of bugs before they happen and ask thoughtful questions to ensure the product is well built. You will work with the product designer and developers to create an appropriate test plan and then execute that test plan. You will also triage bugs as they are reported by the support team and write steps to reproduce each issue.

Our technology stack is a combination of PHP and Ruby on Rails, and we’re moving toward becoming 100% built on Ruby on Rails. We use Github for repository hosting, Circle CI for continuous integration testing, and AWS for infrastructure.

FWIW, I'm a current Linode customer that will be migrating to AWS soon. I like Linode as a basic provider, but I really need the better features such as ASGs, AMIs, and RDS. That's worth the higher cost per hour for me.

If you're reading books like that, might I also suggest Mindfulness in Plain English: http://www.amazon.com/Mindfulness-Plain-English-Anniversary-...

I found it incredibly useful.

Awesome I agree. Read this several years ago! Great book! The observer is such a powerful concept, also covered in practical detail by Holiday. Thank you, though, and check this out: http://lionserpent.com/unity.html :)

There are two podcasts that have guys on there that are bootstrappers:

* Boostrapped with Kids

* Startups for the rest of us

Click "Per Capita" on the map. They have that accounted for.

The per capita map is practically just the inverse of the count map. We're still really only looking at population data.

Mailchimp is great. Easy to use, tons of features, and they have a free plan to get started. I've never had to evaluate the other competitors.
