I’m a CTO as well and never get on these types of calls to get more details and pricing since they can be such a big waste of time. Someone else from our organization will get on the call instead and then give me the pricing details so we can make a decision.
Thanks to the kids switching to virtual school, I’ve only had to set an alarm a handful of times. It’s truly wonderful, not looking forward to having to wake up to an alarm everyday again next year.
I started my web hosting business while working full time and going to grad school part time in 2005. I worked on it nights and weekends and tried to incorporate it into my grad school projects.
I was able to leave my full time job and go all in on my own business about a year later and have been self employed ever since.
It just takes a lot of patience, motivation and a willingness to give up some of your free time.
This is great news, we have been using CloudLinux and Kernel Care at my web hosting company for many years and they are great products. These guys know what they are doing and I trust this distro will be well supported.
