Totally fine to give citations to driverless cars, but can we also start issuing citations to human drivers again too? Its pretty wild out there

Purchased! I've recently been poking around with two audio-related esp32 things I might use this for: Home Assistant Assist via ESPHome, and audio streaming with esp-adf (Espressif's official audio development framework). Excited to try out your board! With the high quality DAC I'll probably end up making this into an audio streamer board for our office.

I bike commute in SF and haven't seen any traffic enforcement at all since before COVID. I see a moving violation of some sort nearly every single day I bike (usually running red lights or right turn on red where prohibited by big glowing signs).

Apparently SF is issuing 10x fewer tickets than before COVID and 100x fewer tickets than 10 years ago: https://web.archive.org/web/20240518142347/https://www.sfchr...

> While SFPD has recently met its Vision Zero target of issuing half of the traffic citations for the top five causes of collisions, it appears that this is largely a result of fewer citations overall — not an increased commitment to Focus on the Five enforcement, Mandelman’s office said.

Ugh incentives y'all.

They definitely were still a thing into the 90s

Best way to prevent piracy is to not let anyone use your software!

Hum... I'm sure the pirated version will run just fine.

This was my experience. Before the M1 Pro/Max I needed to do some Apple Silicon porting for a project, so I bought the low end M1 MacBook Air with 8GB of RAM. It was amazing how well it kept up, and was generally much more snappy than my older Intel Mac with 16GB RAM. I hadn't had <16GB of RAM in years. I didn't expect it to, but it became my daily driver for several months until the Max came out.

Godspeed GitHub infra folks!
