I'd love to introduce myself. I'm Jay!
I bring in about 8+ years of loving Python with a startup mindset focusing on different domains.
I like the grind with a great team building things that would make us proud!
I have prepped up systems of 50 machines and driven uptime metrics to 99.9% across loads of 3k/sec data intensive API calls on globally available services. There’s some depth of thought to achieving this. I've worked with research-driven teams and bring in a research based thought process to solving scaling/operations.
I'm great at scrum calls, helping drive team clarity on tasks, learning new things on the go, building with people, and solving problems with all hands on deck driving focusing on key aspects.
I enjoy being explicit in code/context/communication!

Sorcero (https://www.sorcero.com) is a DC based enterprise knowledge and learning startup developing and deploying novel hybrid AI architectures to support just-in-time point-of-pain interactive organizational learning.
We are looking for early-stage inventor-developers to join our scientific and technical staff. This is an opportunity to work with MIT Media Lab senior scientists engaging with high-profile enterprise customers to create something genuinely new and significant.

Personally tried Hetzner, Scaleway and online.net, it's parent. Online.net and scaleway have payment issues and their payment systems failed me more than once, their website kept logging us out and their support staff did not seem to bother. So I called it quits with online.net/scaleway.
Hetzner has been rock steady for me, however. Just my $0.2.
I also had payment issues. It is so wierd. Payment system is the one thing that even shady business wants to work 100%. I mean if i owe you money for server and i am not able to pay with any of my cards that work anywhere else... I just switched lol.
Perhaps, if you'd look at it this way: Almost every article posted here speaks for the topic at hand.
Many comments provide reasonable counterviews and create a sense of insight and nuance. This creates a sense of a somewhat balanced viewpoint about the topic.
It's not that scoffers or only cynics here are upvoted.
Sadly, cynicism often does seem to be the main emotion doing the rounds.
