It may be parallel construction, but in a kind of cynical way we can publicly praise it as good traditional police work. It takes credibility away from demands for special or clandestine access.

The question is how to put them in a cell to begin with, but I don't think that it requires some super high tech or shady wiretapping. The publicly known lawful interception laws are most likely good enough for finding almost anyone accessing a know site.

I don't think I've ever used mpv, I am really curious why you believe it is better.

The reason ive stuck with vlc is because it can handle anything you throw at it, and has a responsive and minimal UI. If I find anything equally good I wouldn't mind trying it out

I came here to say this. This is a huge departure from the status quo in Ireland, very surprised to see this.

There's nothing new here, Ireland has been changing at a very rapid pace for the last 20 years - becoming progressively more liberal due to many influences, not least the fact that all of a sudden most young people were staying in the country during the celtic tiger years.
