He did promise his electric trucks to be more cost-effective than trains (still nothing in 2026...). And "world's fastest supercar". And full self-driving by "next year" in 2015. None of these are offered in 2026.
There have never been truthful statements from his companies, only hype & fluff for monetary gains.
There used to be [EDIT: still is] a website[1] that listed all of Musk's promises and predictions about his businesses and showed you how long it's been since he said the promise would materialize. It's full of mostly old statements, probably because it's impossible to keep up with the amount of content being generated monthly.
Same as reddit pretty much. 98% is trash but good parts do exist.

The much needed immigration should rather come from countries with similar society and culture to us Europeans, rather than India. Europe couldn't be more different to India and should remain as it was pre-~2014.
Culturally more similar would be South-America I'd say. Them I wouldn't mind at all.

The mass emigration from India is a direct consequence of India's poor wages and living standards. If that was not the case, most people I know (and I myself) wouldn't have emigrated. From what I see[1], the average South American is much better off than the average Indian. Maybe that (and India's huge population) explains why South Americans do not emigrate as much[2] as Indians?
In other words, people from "countries with similar society and culture to us Europeans" may not want to move to Europe. It's all supply and demand at the end of the day

DNS lookups via 1.1.1.1 are also directly fed into the US surveillance state so peter thiel can use his palantir dashboard to see if you are the antichrist or not.
The Claude models are among the most expensive. It's easy to spend 30 EUR+ a day when providing it with a lot of context, documentation. Ofc it can be argued that this money is worth it relative to salaries, but recently I've switched to kilocode myself after looking at different model pricings on openrouter https://openrouter.ai/models?order=pricing-high-to-low There's just no reason to throw money away.
There are plenty of free (and also cheap ones) models you can use with just openrouter or kilocode (inexpensive less-shitty Cursor basically, https://kilocode.ai).
With most things these free models are able to achieve great results and similarly to the expensive ones they need oversight and thorough code reviews. These days I'm barely paying anything for tokens monthly.
For my iPhone I made a dumb script using the Shortcuts app. It's a horrendous app that combines all the worst parts of a scripting language with all the worst parts of a visual language. But I'm not sure how else to do it besides learning swift (I'm not confident I made the right decision btw. It is that bad)
So I just press a button from my quick select and then it'll send my text followed by a carriage return (depending on which option I use).
On Android I did something very similar using termux but it only took 2 minutes to write and is much easier to understand and use
