Always thought the case was for sensor redundancy and data variety - the stuff that throws off monocular depth estimation might not throw off a lidar or radar.
Yeah, I think that's the new thing these days. Companies have always been trying to make things addictive, but now they can target each and every individual. I wonder if we had strong privacy laws, if it were illegal for TikTok to have this private information about you.
The culture of excellence is just not there. Big company but not sure if it’s a live player atm. Lots of unrefined experiences.
People say it’s Tim Cook as if Apple had a bunch of CEOs. In its modern incarnation it was basically Jobs and Cook. But there were some major improvements under Cook and some major disappointments. Hardware seems to be doing well, software not so much.
The entire pipeline to provide for this is prohibitive. At what distance do you actually need to be from your TV for the resolution to max out for the retina? 4k was already a dubious proposition for most TVs people actually own.
Why would they need to do everything? Are you assuming that by the nature of even allowing 10% of labour not being replaced by AI, moving the other 90% of workers into that sector will create no issues with changing wages and wealth distribution ?
I would claim you are already wrong, and that de industrialisation in the West already moved a large number of workers onto a small number of sectors in the services, mostly to the detriment of the overall welfare of the population.
Grom is much much less censored on purpose. I work in image editing and outside of very few people, hardly anyone uses Grok for professional work. Nano Banana Pro is used for the most part.
But for NSFW work it dominates. It’s clearly deliberate.
