It's CS2 not CSGO2?

Apple is the king of abusing position with ios. No sideload app, payment must go through their 30% cut, no other browser allowed, etc..

For sure!

…but that doesn’t mean Google doesn’t also abuse their position.

Billion dollar corporations are not our friends, and the only interest they have is about what’s in our wallets.

Google released three different video codecs in the span of 6 years, and expected everyone to jump and support them, even in hardware.

Now that's abusing market position.

Timeline:

VP8: 2010

VP9: 2013

Google: we're going to slow down the release of new codecs to once every 18 months

VP10 became AV1: 2015

For some reason they've stopped, but I wouldn't put it past them to continue with fire and motion again.

Depending on your perspective, edging Facebook out of their own market as well (Mobile privacy)

TIL.. There's shortcut to cut folder and I've been using OSX since mountain lion.

Not that it matter much since the first thing l do is to install 3rd party finder replacement on a fresh MacOS.

Meh. Not so much. First time I opened it show half screen banner to download mobile app.

And the website wasn't designed for mobile at all.

or maybe mobiles were not designed to order screws

I don't know if you're serious or not. But current Opera engine is the same as Chrome; Blink.

Same engine but it is tweaked heavily to run lighter and they have a nice power saving mode as well.

Watch out for Opera's add block, it works through a proxy to compress data, thus they know your every move online too...

yes, but it works better in terms of start-up speed, battery life, looks more native (at least on windows 10).

Maybe Chrome team should have this MemShrink meeting every once in a while. At the current state it will eat every memory available be it 8GB or 16GB system.

Atom won't be closed source, but it won't be open source either. It will be somewhere inbetween, making it easy for us to charge for Atom while still making the source available under a restrictive license so you can see how everything works. We haven't finalized exactly how this will work yet. We will have full details ready for the official launch.
