It was also the name I choose for a similar app https://github.com/garnieretienne/paperless

It's not REST but it's an HTTP API proposal: http://jmap.io/

I second you, mine is buggy (some times I cannot respond to a call) and missing needed feature for me (like a notification when new email arrive)

I just noticed today the email app has periodic sync on a current build, so hopefully it is on 1.2 (or 1.3)

Have you considered employing them as remote workers ? You will not have problems with timezone/office-hours if you employ in EU countries and moving can be a problem for some people.

Well, I would like to work with them in one office place. I had freelancers working with me before and it worked fine most of the time but it's more about building something together here and learning from eachother. Maybe I should try looking on platforms like Couchsurfing for this matter, hm.

Only a (seemingly arbitrary) subset of EU. Denmark is in, but Sweden is out for example.

But it is not at all for all EU countries. I'm in Sweden and it's on the darn "Excludes" list. Very weird.

surprisingly enough they send to my country (Cyprus) which is not even mainland and they don't send to Estonia which is supposed to be one of Europe's start-up centers

Yes same here, just emailed and tweeted to them to see why

Any luck for Canadians?

Doesn't seem to be available on ebay.ca.

But all the best coders live in Canada!

another reason why they need to move to the USA

Or maybe US is a foreign government for some people ?

I never has a mac and i'm using linux-based distros for 8 years now. I love rails and i'm happy with the following setup:

Elementary OS Luna beta (based on Ubuntu LTS (http://elementaryos.org), "rbenv" as ruby version manager (https://github.com/sstephenson/rbenv), "bundler" as gem packages manager (http://bundler.io), Sublime Text and vim as code editor (http://www.sublimetext.com) and SQlite as developement database (or simply install PostgreSQL or MySQL throught apt-get package manager)

don't miss http://www.mapbox.com/blog/cloudless-atlas-with-landsat/ as well

Thanks to Landsat 8 new data also no longer suffers from Landsat 7's defunct SLC

There's also this series of month-by-month cloudless composite maps from NASA: http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/Features/BlueMarble/

Neat to see things like icecaps expanding and retreating.

I would use it if it was available on linux !
