compared to a mega container ship, i bet the carbon footprint of this sailing boat is much much greater!
Please compare the sails, antifouling, boat paint per load compared to a container ship, its much uglier than you think when you compare it to a big size petrol container ship! Just do the math! Its has more a symbolic "green thing" character, which is good! :)
Even an automatically controlled boat is too expensive concerning insurance, fire and so compared to a megaboat with a small amount of people.
Germany did not wear masks on the first shutdown in spring (same as Danmark and Sweden) - the were not available and they came as the spread already went down heading summer.
As for the headline, Germany has a strict shutdown at the moment.
Germany does not have any strict shutdown. National mobility isn’t limited and all shops are open. The gathering of people is kinda limited, but nobody controls it.
- Door handles made of brass / copper (kill bacteria, viruses and fungi) are retrofitted in many households.
- Significantly less tourism in 2020. Maybe a peak in 2021.
- More divorces.
- Higher unemployment rate.
- Less globalization. There are other triggers for this, such as the current (and expected) US foreign policy.
- A shift in the age pyramid, with various consequences!
- Greater spread / acceptance of bidets. Spread of systems that retrofit a kind of bidet for western toilets.
- Faster changes to the law for drone deliveries.
- More privately owned firearms.
- More doomsday prepper.
- bank consolidation. Especially in the United States.
- I'm curious to see what happens to all of the sub-prime car loans in the United States that used to blow cars up to very poor Uber drivers. They drive for +/- 0 Uber and then drive to the 2nd and 3rd job. One of the jobs breaks away.
- Higher mortality rates for various diseases because hospitals and health systems are overloaded.
- More vegeterians and pasters.
- High capacity utilization in cemeteries, undertakers and crematoriums.
- Much, much more blatant two-tier medicine than before.
- Various airport businesses go bankrupt.
- Less just-in-time, but more local stocks / buffers. In all stations of the supply chain.
- Blatant price changes in food. The prices for mussels, eels and lobsters have dropped by up to 70% in some markets!
- A lot of assets will migrate from older generations to younger generations.
- More vertical farming, rooftop farming, rooftop bee keeping, etc. in cities.

The app is code-signed with a valid Apple developer ID, but you may be seeing problems because it is not directly distributed through the app store. Per Google apparently a lot of apps have run into this problem: it seems that post-Catalina Apple insists on an additional "notarization" step for non-store apps. I was actually aware of this general problem since there was some hubbub about Electron 7+ apps having issues with that process, but I mistakenly believed I was immune to that problem by pinning to Electron 6. I'll ping you once we've jumped through that hoop, but unfortunately it isn't something that I can fix instantly.
In the meantime you can make an explicit exception by "right-clicking" on the application icon and selecting "Open" from the context menu that pops up.
