It's 2 major revisions, which is alright

No. No it's not. Rather get a last gen apple mini

I think it's very idealistic to assume that the us has moved to accept rule of law or limitations when it comes ones to foreign policy and spying. We've had a sufficient examples (prism, renditionS, etc)

Fair comment, but steam is, or at least used to be, worse in this regard than valve. They gamified sales. Flash sales, loot boxes for buying stuff, trading said loot on steam marketplace, etc.

I e, they pushed gambling and gacha stuff to children. I've always felt they had come up with a perverse incentive s structure with these sales.

Isn't all of that true for the us government in one way or another? Except maybe the drug trafficking, which is a bit farther back in us history

Yeah. Getting teleported was almost the first thing that happened to me in the game. Way befor getting a horse

What I like about the game is that once you’ve been down a path once, you can usually repeat it without stopping to fight or getting hurt. That cave is a prime example, it only takes about 10 seconds to get from the place you get trapped to the site of Grace once you know where it is.

The 'it just works' part is something that i really struggled with and it tainted my view of stream for good. I absolutely hated when it forced an update download and wouldn't let you do anything about it. tryin to pay a game and then bring forced to wait an hour or something (my internet used to be bad)... was infuriating and ruined many gaming sessions.

I never got a fondness for stream as a result and avoid it whenever possible.

On that note, i was really surprised to find out that epic let's you start plenty of your games without having to open the client. That's a killer feature for me. Family sharing is too.

To be fair, it's probably quicker to download and install chrome/ff/brave than to fix the absolutely user hostile default settings on edge.

That really isn't true anymore. Chi-fi iems changed the iem market pretty massively and you can get them with detachable cables for less than $20 these days.

Would appreciate search keyword or brand/model recommendations.

Moondrop, tanchjim, tin audio, dunu

KZ, too.

Merci!

Whoops... started searching for Merci! branded earbuds.

The ui alone is basically enough for me to not touch it for a while. I dont need any of the new features and there are loads of anti features i tthe ui (rightclick menu, taskbar icons for more than 1 window, changing default apps, etc)

I dont understand what's driving these changes, but they seem so use hostile that it puts me off the whole os.

I don't think your redundancy is in the cards yet, technologically. You'd need a minimum of a few hundred people living on Mars long term and being able to sustain themselves.

That seems ... very far off. I dont necessarily disagree with setting a science mission up on Mars, but i'd strongly disagree with the notion that Mars is even a top priority for a diversification of baskets.

I'm not making any claim we can do this right now. I'm just making a claim that working towards this as a goal is important to many people for what I think are understandable reasons.

Also, the sooner you can get to Mars more reliable and more cheaply with larger payloads, the sooner that becomes a reality. Even if it never happens in my lifetime, that doesn't mean I think it's not worth working towards making all those things more real so it can be a reality at some point in time.

Without even knowing specifically what you think would be a better choice, my guess is that cheaper, more reliable launch capabilities with bigger payloads will help that too.
