SEEKING FREELANCER - Remote

Looking for an experienced iOS developer with deep server knowledge for a paid project. Node+Ruby preferred. Game center experience a plus as well. Design not required. If you've also built for Android that's a plus, but not a requirement. I always like to establish new relationships and am currently testing out a short term project. If it works out for the both of us, follow up projects may be offered. Location is irrelevant, but I have a tight timeline!

What iOS or Android apps have you built? Can't see any on your site.

Work on increasing user engagement.

If you don't already have push notifications implemented its probably a good time to do so.

Focus on creating either 1.) Better monetization or 2.) Another relevant app to drive users to in order to monetize.

The worst case is when developers owe license fees for components within apps. Pirates can literally make you pay out $0.xx per pirate... Which kills profits fast.

So this game loaded up, and here are my thoughts: (thanks for the promo code)

1.) I like the idea of a game to check Twitter. I didnt like the idea at first, but only hitting star tiles to show tweets is pretty interesting.

2.) Movements are very fluid. The slow-down effect when a Tweet shows up is just great.

3.) Have you considered as levels advance, to incorporate multiple retro-styled games? Maybe asteroids after 5 levels, etc? Of course this would require a great deal more development, but done in the same style - it would give significant reason to play the game to the end (and keep discovering hidden games)

4.) The bit graphics are done quite a bit now, and overdone in some cases. Yours are good, but I think they could be sharpened up a bit, especially for a retina display. Pixels are great, but there is a healthy blend of using colors that pop with pixel graphics (see League of Evil).

Overall, awesome job.

Consider incorporating sharing options when you die, or when you complete a level. Having people tweet out a link to the game (and your Twitter handle) would be great for virality.

Love it! My fiancé signed up this morning and spread the word on FB. I've been thinking about this for awhile now, but in a marketplace form.

Have you decided how to monotize it? One thought I've had would be the Airbnb model, but given that it's way more niche than finding a place to stay for vacation, I think this would have to be tested with an audience who is in dire need of this. Maybe find a way to target the "babysitter" audience?
