is linux made by good people?

The tools I love are made by flawed people

Stallman is interesting personality. To put it politely. Does he belong to good people? Somewhat orthogonal question. And goodness of his stances on software is also well something that can be debated validly.

Yeah I first tought that this was rant about how Linus Torvalds is asshole.

its not. People are people. Only the incentives are different.

But where's the Careers page?

Good call. On it!

a support forum, weblog, facebook page, github

"Ask HN: Who's Hiring?"

Wow! I didn't expect the simple circular design, but it's so apt and clean. I just finished watching the Dieter Rams documentary, and this seems to follow his key principles well.

Seems pretty cool but maybe the shell needs to be smoothed out? I tried to run some UNIX commands and it seems to freeze after a few.

Sounds great, hope it will inspire its neighboring countries to take a similar initiative.

It's weird that this infection makes one more risk-embracing and "likely to disregard rules," but the subjects score higher in the apprehension factor. Doesn't that mean they are somehow becoming adventurous worrywarts? (Or did I misunderstand something here).

Out of curiosity, what level of prior experience with flying aircraft did you need to work as a cargo flyer?

I would learn how to grow and harvest kava kava (psychoactive plant).

haha hey i used to take that stuff every now and then!

Is there any book in that area you'd recommend? I'd be interested in reading something I'm totally unfamiliar with.

I would recommend Darwin on Trial by Phillip Johnson. A short and extraordinarily limpid book. Reading it is like drinking a cool glass of water.

I also like everything written by Stephen C Meyer. As far as I am concerned Meyer is the world's leading historian and philosopher of science.

This is very cool. I wonder if the query-param-based state management will become hairy to manage, but maybe it'll just inspire discipline in crafting the state props.
