I shopped at Fry's the food market as a kid. The electronics section was small and close to the cash registers. The section had a few movies, disposeable kodak cameras and film, batteries, and other small electronic stuff like walkman's.

Jurassic Park - Michael Crichton

The movie cut out a lot. The book is awesome. Read it 5 times already and I might repeat it again soon.

It’s much lesser known, but I also really enjoyed Airframe, by the same author.

The biggest thing I remember from the book is the old guy kept falling asleep constantly! Obviously still a great book but that part annoyed me.
