In case you'd be interested, here's a blog post that summarizes all the Markdown capabilities of CKEditor 5. https://ckeditor.com/blog/CKEditor-5-the-best-open-source-Ma...

I'd suggest you to contact sales to learn the details of custom licensing options if you haven't already, also to make sure you're understanding the active users correctly for your case.

It still offers an open source option so you can test all its limits and see if it fits your case or not. Also if your project is not proprietary there is still the free for open source option in case your project is not compatible with GPL2+.

Hello there, I work for CKEditor and opened an issue regarding this but for future reference please do not hesitate to report such issues to us! https://ckeditor.com/docs/ckeditor5/latest/builds/guides/sup... https://github.com/ckeditor/ckeditor5/issues/8653

How I love this comment. I do socials for CKEditor and read almost everything there is to read for WYSIWYG rich text editing, collaborating.(a little late this time)Feedback, frustrations, feature requests. I'm sad to read CKEditor doesn't cut it because I'm able to see in first hand how much effort goes into it. But I'm not surprised because I still have "I would have never guessed" moments about all the ways people use the editors myself. There is ALWAYS room for improvement when it comes to writing on web and feedback from users like you are crucial :)

My eyesight has been getting worse since I was addicted to reading Agatha Christine at age 14-16. After 14 years the decline has not stopped, this is definitely worth a shot.

> eyesight ... worse since ... reading Agatha Christie

Like they say, an Agatha Christie a day keeps eyesight acuity away.

The original article is actually this one as it was written by us and initially posted to our Medium account only to realize last week that we somehow forgot to publish it on our blog. Whoops.

So - this here is an updated, revised and improved version. Enjoy!

Thank you for posting this on a less hostile platform :)

There is also a very handy checklist if anyone's interested. https://ckeditor.com/blog/Web-accessibility-testing-DIY/ Here is to keeping web accessible :)

Can't see any link to collaborative demos for CKEditor 5 in the article but here it is: https://ckeditor.com/collaboration/real-time-collaborative-e...

Anyone have any experience using the collaboration feature of CKEditor5 they can share?

I wish the article mentioned more about how John and Thomas are similar. Cause topic for me felt like "men without self=control" and gender is not mentioned once, baffling. Could not continue to read.

First of all, thank you so much for the feedback. The 25 end user plan is a specific offering for small projects (no zeros missing:)) please don’t forget that the fee covers as well the support allowance, enterprise warranties, indemnifications, etc.

In our flexible plan, we always try to find a working licensing scenario with our customers, with volume discounts, especially for bigger projects. Also, note that MAU count is not the only licensing metric that’s offered, and we are happy to simply sit down with you, discuss your project and reach an agreement.
