BER/DER/PEM encodings are mostly quite simple, have very few subtle details.

Yeah, those are the easy one. I worked in Telecom, and dealing with unaligned PER is a PITA.

Yes, you can do it if you put the hash of a message INTO the chain as a transaction (I think they do something of this kind). But in this way you will share the limits of the Bitcoin network. They claim they do it in some efficient way, though. But I wouldn't trust it without checking their algorithm.

Anyway, any other "linear" blockchain (e.g. with PoS consensus) can do the same work. No wasting of resources is needed.

nMigen still requires toolchains, perhaps you mean that iCE40 is just supported by Yosys+nextpnr?

I’m assuming one would use nMigen with Yosys instead of Lattice’s bloated toolchain. That wasn’t clear.

seems nobody mentioned rpcapd in this thread - https://github.com/rpcapd-linux/rpcapd-linux could be used to see interfaces on remote linux boxes from windows desktop

very well said, thank you so much.

Seconded this thread, don't understand all other laudatory threads.

Tried again recently, Windows 10 with latest apache webserver fails hard on simple tests.

Some technologies must just die and disappear.

not quite the assembly, but you may look at small intros at https://www.pouet.net/prodlist.php of sizes 32 bytes and so on.

many intros are provided with source codes, and others could easily be viewed in disassemblers.

especially look at intros by such brilliant people like Digimind and Řrřola.

This is absolutely true.

And as has been said in other threads, Google Talk was the only sane strategy for Google and it was lost.
