If you stop paying, they want to make a report to the credit agencies.

I think the solution is simple then: The SSN should be used for read-only. Once the credit report is read/accessed, the credit bureau issues a write-only code. The company then deletes the SSN and only retains the write-only code. If the write-only code is leaked later in a hack, it is useless to criminals trying to open new accounts.

Actual information is on this page: https://www.tesla.com/support/model-3-reservations-faq

Looks like the first production cars will start at $49k, with no $35k cars available until November.

And here is a "first drive" review of the car.

Why'd they have to make the front look like the GM EV1? That looks like ass.

Probably, the made the Model 3 uglier on purpose, to differentiate from the luxury Model S. Buy yeah I agree there is no motor in front, so they had all freedom to come up with some nice design... the front portion could look a lot better, and the interior is very essential, like a 1980s asian car with an Android tablet taped on, if you ask me.

Not sure what similarities you found in these two cars. For me model 3 looks amazing considering its price category, both interior and exterior. Chevy bolt looks like a cheap Chinese toy compared to model 3 in my opinion.

Sure, but shouldn't the 5/6/7 series then appear as the highest-cost models rather than the 328i?

The article doesn't really explain things very well. Why did they only pick those 20 models to compare? I think they are all in the same price range? This is probably appealing to "mainstream" models, rather than enthusiast or luxury models.

Also, there's absolutely no way that the 328i is the most expensive BMW model. It's probably the most reliable (and highest volume) model sold in the US, and maintenance is cheap compared to the M-model and V8/V12 cars that BMW sells.

There was an article on here about that a few months back. The main idea is that the passcode entry limit is enforced by the OS, so Apple is able to sign and use a custom OS that doesn't enforce the limit, then brute force the passcode from there.

To be fair, the Nexus 4/7/10 devices are being sold at or near cost. That model isn't really tenable for manufacturers who aren't getting support from Google.

Is it a public beta if you have to pay for access?

I think that this is an area where Apple's retail presence is a big strength for them. The benefits of the new display are hard to get across in marketing, especially to consumers who are not tech-savvy and don't understand how a higher resolution display would improve the iPad. Apple Stores let people experience the product firsthand, and I expect a lot of these people will be very impressed after they see the screen with their own eyes.
