You actually want a mirrorless camera, not a DSLR one. If you intend to only use it as a webcam, probably just buy Panasonic G7 or Canon M200 for $500.

Canon M200, Panasonic G7, Sony a5100 (oldest but can be bought for cheap and has good autofocus).

probably not. but while doing that (takes 10 years), all the execs and VCs get rich while the investing public is left holding the bag.

Exactly, I already choose Macs as the build time on a 15” MacBook Pro from 2015 is half that of a 2016 XPS 15” running Windows 10. It’s twice again if you use WSL on the Dell. Fedora natively on the Dell gets a lot closer to the Mac
