Here are relative dimensions:

Pixel 3 phone dimensions: 145.6 x 68.2 x 7.9 mm

Zenfone 9 phone dimensions: 146.5x68.1x9.1mm

Pixel 6a phone dimensions: 152.2 x 71.8 x 8.9 mm

Pixel 6 dimensions: 158.60 x 74.80 x 8.90mm

With current slim bezels and modified aspect ratios, dimensions have gone down for relatively larger screen sizes.

In India, we have this standardised from quite some time. As an Indian vegetarian, I can imagine that naming vegetarian things with non-vegetarian terms would actually be detrimental to the products sales. We already have a name "chaap" for similar things.
