When I started using CodIgniter the easiness of installing the framework really amazed me. You don't even need the mod_rewrite enabled!

Just extract the CodIgniter code into a webserver directory and create the controller code to show some output or load a view and you are done!

Unicode has upside down versions of most characters, most of them for the phonetic alphabet. A simple algorithm can replace the characters with upside down versions.

GitHub were crushed by the release of HipHop. Too bad, I wished to test the HipHop translator.

Their file servers crashed before the Hip Hop announcement, and Hip Hop hasn't even been pushed to GitHub yet, according to this announcement.
