I'm using .co domain for couple of my side projects [0] and they rank well. So, from SEO point of vew, it's as good as .com.

Thanks. I'll fix that.

yeah, I should add that. I thought it was too common for target users. Thanks.

> Is there a good reason to prefer yours ?

Maybe not, yet. But over a period of gradual improvement, it may offer something unique to certain niche. e.g beginner users, who would prefer a tax calculation tool with a clear and easy to understand step by step guide, followed by some tax related advise etc (something similar to what you've recommended). Thanks.

No. Data never leaves the browser (temporarily stored on client's browser using sessionStorage).

Do you store any other data other than typed in, like IP, browser, etc?

yeah, I couldn't find anything else.

Points noted. It's the initial version of what I wanted to build. I'll add more features gradually as I get some input/suggestion from the users. Thank you.

Thanks for suggestion. Added to TODO.

Cool, a plaintext sig generator would be very welcome

There, all set! :-)

it's dash dash space!

Outlook Express had a bug for years where it would correctly add the signature seperator, but then strip whitespace and strip the trailing space.

Usenet used to hate it.

I added the space, I believe HN trimmed it.

I might use this, because, internet. :-)

yeah! I'll be launching an API soon. (in a week or two)

>> Wonder how long it will stay live though.

Would you elaborate that ?

You're violating SoundCloud's terms of use:

  (i) You must not copy, rip or capture, or attempt to copy, rip or capture,
any audio Content from the Platform or any part of the Platform,
other than by means of download in circumstances where the relevant
Uploader has elected to permit downloads of the relevant item of Content.
https://soundcloud.com/terms-of-use#acceptance-of-terms-of-u...

I thought I'm just extracting the final_download_link, so it would be okay. (As, in the end, content is getting served from their CDN)

From their perspective you are fiddling with their software to bypass restrictions requested by the content creators/uploaders. They will just ban your IP and be done with it. If they can't for whatever reason, I guess they'll have to start obfuscating the protocol.
