- Using EC2 for the purpose, deleting all vids afterwards

Facebook has their own infrastructure and very well capable of hosting their own. And of course deleting the videos isn't a smart idea

Downloaded items shows up on the notification bar on the first time. Clicking on it will open it. Or if you cant find the File Manager on a Android phone and browse the /Downloads folder, you shouldn't be using a smartphone at all.

Retina display huh? Retina is just another marketing word. Apple's retina display was surpassed by consumer technology more than a year ago. GS4 has a 441ppi screen while the Iphone 5 "Retina" display is just 326ppi.

.... okay?

I'm not sure why you thought that I didn't understand that Retina is a marketing term, or why it's relevant to the point I was making.

I thought there would be some real information there when I saw the title and the web site. But what the heck is this

I don't see how this is annoying and adding 3px is going to "make the difference in the world" Look at the authors blog. see how much space between the header and the "<Back to blog" and the content. Fix yours first. Its actually annoying than this

OP here, Thanks for mentioning :) corrected the article

arggg really dude? I dont want my web site on that please!

Is there anything inherently wrong with ARM servers that give you legitimate reason to immediately balk at the suggestion? As far as I can tell, ARM servers are no less reliable or speedy as x86 servers. They just cost less to own and run. In fact, there's already a sizable precedence of ARM server clusters like EC2 (and including EC2). See:

Yes this argument is becoming true with time because ARM is really gaining phase. But we have Virtualization and its already cheap and works best at the moment. I dont see why anyone should go for separate ARM server ( in normal scenarios of course ) instead of using virtualization
