14 months can’t find IT ops remote work

I think remote work peaked and is slowly declining now, for better or worse.

remote work is pretty much done, if you are looking for 100% remote work you'll have a very hard time finding it unless you get a job through a referral of a former colleague or something like that

Location: Southeast Michigan Remote: Yes Willing to relocate: Yes Technologies: Windows, Linux, some C#, java, python Résumé/CV: by email Email: alevinson03@gmail.com

"My Mexican flag. Green, white, and red! That's my flag! Not this flag. Fúck this flag! I pledge allegiance to Mexico. Nobody else. Not this country."

>> Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

People can say whatever they want. Only violent actions qualify as insurrection.

"My Confederate flag. Blue, white, and red! That's my flag! Not this flag. Fuck this flag! I pledge allegiance to the Confederacy. Nobody else. Not this country."

We have seen what happens to the traitors flying the Confederate flag.

They are listened to, cuddled, and pardoned.

The FAA decided not to medically clear me over my severe apnea last year. Soul crushing moment.

"americans on the whole"

blanket statements like this are never accurate

Your comment also makes a blanket statement.

That's the joke. All generalizations are false.

That's a generalization.

THAT'S THE JOKE.

I know. I was doubling down on pretending not to understand. But guess it wasn't obvious enough.

Undaunted Courage by Stephen Ambrose. The tale of Lewis and Clark as told largely from Lewis' journal from the journey.

As a newcomer to this platform, I distinctly recall discovering this project as one of my earliest and most cherished memories of encountering engaging and rewarding endeavors within its community. Well done!

My phone said this sounded more professional but I kind of hate it.

dont even start

Sadly, it's becoming apparent that the only reason people believe in The Holocaust is the massive effort that went into documenting and preserving the direct evidence. The exodus of Jews from Arab and Muslim countries doesn't have museums and isn't part of school curricula, so it's easier to deny.

Hundreds of thousands of people, whether Palestinian, Jewish, Desi, or German, don't tend to move en masse without violence.

People who hold a mental model of Israel as a White European Colonizer seem to simply reject the idea that it absorbed more than a half million fleeing Black & Brown Jews in its first decades of existence. If they even accept that 90% of the Jews in Arab countries suddenly left without their property and money, they insist that it was a voluntary move due to inherent Jewish disloyalty to their broader societies.

Like the hundreds of thousands of Palestinians ethnically cleansed from their homeland during Nakba (and now)?

Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians didn't get up one day and move fifteen miles down the road because they all felt like going on a picnic at the same time.

Interestingly, the term "ethnic cleansing" wasn't coined until the 1990s. The 20th century push for ethnic self determination came with an understanding that people would have to be moved to form concentrated and contiguous populations that could self determine. Millions of people were forced to move in the 1940s to establish India, Pakistan, and a more Slavic Soviet Union.

You're right hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were forced off their land by Zionists terrorists during Nakba, just like what's happening today in Gaza.

Immutable rules can’t be perfect and are always at risk of being weaponized by whoever is in power at the time.

However, if you never actually look at the phone it will not unlock it. It requires your "attention" to unlock. I believe this is a togglable setting.
