I might be skipping the competence part but personally my performance has been directly correlated to how much I care about my team/org. My attention is focused and goal oriented in a proactive way when I do care but passive and reactive when I just want a paycheck. I don't have good advice to spot how people care so its not super helpful but people that don't attempt to help in hairy situations or seem withdrawn from conversations are probably not on the good end of things.
So far I've found it very nice to work with as shorthand. The only issue I have so far is override scenarios for merging 2 class attributes as it isn't straightforward how this works unless you have a map ahead of time to remove class names that you want overridden.
That seems so efficient to do it all at once like that. The brain seems to be this massively parallel/buffered biological machine with an assembly pipeline to the consciousness center(s)? Like a mix of specific architecture layout (software 1.0) with a bunch of pattern matchers (software 2.0) maybe but I'm complete layman here obviously.
I moved to sunny California because of this having started out in Seattle which is known for being cloudy and rainy a lot. My mood has been way better overall and I find that spending a bit of time in the sun each day makes me feel as right as rain. I would go so far as to say my life is a lot better because of this as it prevented some self loathing behavior or unnecessarily prolonged melancholy sans medication.
Yah I don't understand how all the factors come together and my hindsight is probably even wrong as I met new people and worked out more and a lot of good things happened and opportunities etc. But I do know that getting some sun for sure helps me feel better, not being broke, having a good social life and getting some good exercise in is all positive on the mood.
I remember it was posted here prior... I wonder if this is THE best way to report wrongs from big tech and then shame them into retraction so the little guys don't get crushed.
I've tried doing this myself for company related compliance testing which mostly is bullshit anyway and doesn't apply to me. GPT3 is better used as a tentative backup tbh because it sometimes gives wrong answers or strange answers similar to how the images and video produced from Stable Diffusion and the like are strange and dreamlike or just impossibly wrong.
The bit about the logs was funny. I have noticed my oculus 2 be pretty responsive and zippy to now being frustrating to the point I put it down. I would guess its getting bloated.
it looks like bizarre dreams as videos... so far but it will improve to less weird... eventually being used in VR or AR to give you instant environments/scenarios as you wish, I would imagine
Some of the better ones do most of the thinking for you in a clever and minimal way and seem to reset the status quo of giant dependency trees that take a long time to install and update and deploy (relatively to your scenario). deno fresh for example is a reset coupled with deno deploy. Its better to not have to worry about manually updating the dom and think of updating state instead just like updating a variable ideally. As long as it gets out of your way and speeds up results, it is a win IMO. It gets even better when its a super fast deployment baked in. Not fun to FTP as I remember long time back. FYI coming from simple user-land and I do think things are getting better when those resets happen, not worse.
This will be nice when a person wants a custom item tailor made to describe visually what it should look like and verify the picture before sending over. Taking that idea further into the future, we can clearly see how speech-to-text and dynamic adjustments coupled with 3d printing could lead.
